萬圣節(jié)是很多西方國家的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，為慶祝萬圣節(jié)的來臨，小孩會裝扮成各種可愛的鬼怪逐門逐戶地敲門，trick or treat. 不給糖就搗蛋。而傳說在這一晚，各種鬼怪也會裝扮成小孩混入群眾之中一起慶祝萬圣節(jié)的來臨。本期的三分鐘學雅思，就讓我們一起結(jié)合這道的雅思口語話題：“Describe an interesting part of your country.”來一起學習如何描述萬圣節(jié)吧！

I wanna tell you about the time I got dragged to a Halloween party thrown in an abandoned town by my friends. Usually I’m not a timid person, but that spooky place really freaked me out. They had unexplained noises and even running into actual apparitions all over the place. I was flipped out when I saw a person’s spirit separated from his body in that shady coffin. It was such a paranormal experience that you wouldn’t expected.

A group of us got stranded in a seemingly deserted area. They have all the abandoned facilities with spiderweb coverings. Inside a clinic they had Postmortem photos hanging on the wall and dirty bed sheets stained with blood. It is the only path, so we shuddered through while we heard strange cries ranging loudly in my ears. It was so frightening that I couldn’t even move. The entire natural outdoor labyrinth took us at least two hours to get out. And I swear I would never ever go there again.
