It is clear that among the three states, Utah was the only one where senior citizens outnumbered the under-18s. Californian people had the highest average income, and more people in Utah lived in poverty than other two states.

California had the largest proportion of people who were younger than 18(30%), followed by the figure in Florida(20%). Although only 15% of the population in Utah were under 18, this state had the highest percentage of people aged older than 65. Besides, a similar figure in terms of population aged over 65 could be found in Florida and California, with roughly 18%.

It is clear that the average income and the figure for population living in poverty were negatively co-related. To be more specific, we can find that the average income in California ranked the top($22,000), and only 5% of the population in this sate were in financial difficulties. By contrast, the lowest average income was found in Utah($18,000), and 11% of the people there were below the official poverty line.
